Victorian Period Corset, Saturday 29th November 2008, 9.30 am - 4.30pm at Countess Wear Village Hall.
This is different from a boned bodice as this a figure changing garment with a busk front closure, back lacing and steel boning that can reduce your waist measurement by two to four inches and give good bust support. Corset kits will be supplied by the tutor at a cost of £45 which will need to be ordered at least two weeks in advance of the workshop date (see course details for more information). This is a very intensive day and good machine skills are required for this workshop as all stitching lines will be visible.
Venue, Countess Wear Village Hall, Exeter. Twelve places. Tuition cost £32 per student.
